Complete the 30 Day Song Challenge

I saw friends doing this on Facebook a few months ago, and I thought it looked kind of fun. I feel like I've been really out of sync (no pun intended) with the music scene since we moved to Chicago, and I thought doing this challenge might help me get more interested in music again, and really just discover some insight into myself as well.

Have a Numerology Session

I met with Philip today for an hour and learned all about myself. Or rather, Philip told me all the things I already knew about myself.

It was really interesting. He went through the meaning of my birthday as well as my name and explained how it all works together, what I'm supposed to be doing and who I am. And everything he said was spot on and resonated with me. I took a ton of notes to really go over it again to process and make sure I don't have any questions.

But it all boiled down to basically this: I kick ass.

Eat Vegetarian for One Week

This was harder than I thought it would be only because I had to make a conscious effort at every meal not to eat meat. I don't normally eat meat at every meal -- or even every day -- but I also don't normally have to think about it constantly.

So the more I focused on not eating meat, the more I missed it. I think there is a breaking point where it gets better and you just don't miss it anymore, but one week is definitely not it. Regardless, I think this was a success.
